Heartland Security celebrated a great 2017 with our employees at our annual holiday party earlier this month. This year's party had our best attendance yet, with only one of our full-time employees missing! 2017 was a great year for us and we're thankful for our customers and employees!

How Alarm.com Kept Me Informed During a Power Outage

We had some storms come through our area last night and into this morning. I was woken up this morning by my two youngest kids, ages 5 and 6, explaining that the light and the clock in their room was off and wouldn't turn on. Then, I saw the fan in my room had stopped too. It was looking like the power was out.

It was 6:03 a.m. and my phone buzzed with a notification from Alarm.com that told me our alarm system reported a power failure.

Tom Marthaler Retirement Party

Earlier this month we held a retirement party for our company's very first retiree, Tom Marthaler. For the last 17 years, Tom has worked as a Regional Sales Manager in our northern territory, covering St. Cloud to the western border of Minnesota.
